| The
Indonesian Embassy in Manila, in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Philippines
(CCP) present a cultural performances by Kelompok Pemuda Krida Budaya of Ponorogo,
East Java entitled Reog Ponorogo in ASEAN Park, CCP complex last March 20, 2005.
| |  The
reog performance, consist of 24 dancers including a 6 years old child, featuring
a mask made of authentic head of a lion decorated with large peacock feather on
top of it and weighing about 50 kilos and colorful costumes. |
| | Two
cultural performances were performed by the group which lasted for almost an hour
each, with the first performance started at 5:00 pm and the last one at 6:30 pm.
In between performances, a miniature Reog mask is presented to the President of
Cultural Center of the Philippines, Mr. Nestor Jardin by Hon. Sanusi, Charge's
de Affaires of Indonesian Embassy - Manila as a token of appreciation by the cultural
group from Ponorogo. |  | Aproximately
around 500 people watch the said performances. |
