The POSKO tasks are,
a. Surveillance
and investigation of new cases of
infections
b. Anticipating
of the spread of rabbies by
eliminating 916 stray canines using
injection with detail as follows:
1) Denpasar City 32
2) Badung Municipality 545
3) Karangasem Municipality 274
4) Bangli Municipality 55
5) Gianyar Municipality 10
c. Vaccination to 13.220
domestic canines with detail as
follows:
1) Denpasar City 7.806
2) Gianyar Municipality 10
d. Facilitating
a free exposure to the vaccination officer, the laboratory officer,
and the pets
unit of the Bali Police.
e. Vaccination
to the 356 patients infected by the canine’s bites with the detail as
follows:
1) Badung Municipality 353
patients
2) Karangasem Municipality 3
patients
f. Socialization of how to handle
the occurrence of canine’s bites in humans and
promotion of social awareness of
rabbies cases.
