Tourist Visa

  1. Nationals of countries not included in the list of the Visa-Free Short Visit must have a visa to enter Indonesia and should submit their applications.

  2. This visa is issued for the purpose of:

  1. visiting tourist objects;

  2. developing the tourism industries in Indonesia;

  3. managing/ conducting package tours to Indonesia.

  1. It entitles for single journey within the maximum stay indicated in a visa and non-extendable.

  2. If granted, the journey to Indonesia must be executed within 90 (ninety) days after the date of issue.

  3. In some cases, the issuance of this visa may be subject for the approval from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in Jakarta. This process can take up to one month or more before a decision is made and the visa is granted. The purchase of ticket prior to the approval is not required.

Required documents should be submitted to the Embassy, as follows:

  1. Two pieces of completely filled out visa application form for visit;

  2. Two pieces recent, colored photograph with size of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches, taken not more than six months, to be attached on the space provided for;

  3. Travel itinerary (proof of booking/ airline booking certificate), including details of onward or return journey;

  4. Valid, perfectly conditioned passport at least 6 (six) months valid upon arrival in Indonesia;

  5. The applicant’s formal letter of request for visa, indicating as follows: (should be addressed to the Consular Affairs Section of the Indonesian Embassy in Manila)

    1. Purpose of visit;

    2. Length of intended stay in Indonesia;

    3. Place(s) to stay in Indonesia;

    4. Date, time, and airline/ship number of arrival in Indonesia;

    5. Date, time, and airline/ship number of departure from Indonesia;

    6. Next country of destination after Indonesia

     

  6. Proof of applicant’s income (i.e. Bank Statement) with a minimum balance of US $ 1,000.00 for minimum of one-month deposit.

  7. Photocopy of Philippine Immigration documents, they are:

    1. Alien Card of Registration;

    2. Immigration Card of Registration;

    3. Re-entry permit;

    4. Valid Philippine Visa.

     

  8. If any, a formal letter of guarantee from the sponsor in Indonesia, indicating as follows: (should be addressed to the Consular Affairs Section of the Indonesian Embassy in Manila)

    1. Purpose of visit;

    2. Name and complete detail of applicant;

    3. Length of stay in Indonesia;

    4. Place(s) to stay in Indonesia;

    5. Date, time, and airline/ ship number of arrival in Indonesia;

    6. Date, time, and airline/ ship number of departure in Indonesia;

    7. Country to be visited after Indonesia;

    8. Complete name, address and tel/fax numbers of the sponsor in Indonesia.

     

  9. If so required, the approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and period of the stay in Indonesia.
