Limited Stay Visa

Information:

  1. This visa is also called a Temporary Stay Visa for the purpose of:
    1. foreign investment;
    2. employment as an expatriate expert for the government or the private sector;
    3. education, training, or scientific research;
    4. religious duties;
    5. joining a husband and/ or a parent who is a foreign national in possession of a Limited/ Permanent Stay Permit or who is an Indonesian citizens, for the wife and/ or single, legitimate child(ren) who is/ are under 18 years old of age;
    6. repatriation for a former Indonesian citizens;
      h. to regain Indonesian citizenship which was lost under Act No. 62/1958 concerning Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia.

  2. It entitles for single journey within the allowable maximum time of stay approved by the Indonesian Immigration Authority.

  3. The journey to Indonesia must be executed within 90 (ninety) days after the date of issue.

  4. The issuance of this visa is subject for the approval from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in Jakarta, in which the sponsor in Indonesia is the one applying for such approval.

Required documents should be submitted to the Embassy, as follows:

  1. One piece of completely filled out visa application form for limited stay;

  2. One piece recent, colored photograph with size of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches, taken not more than six months, to be attached on the space provided for;

  3. One piece of completely filled out self curriculum vitae;

  4. Valid, perfectly conditioned passport at least 18 (eighteen) months valid upon arrival in Indonesia;

  5. The approval copy from the Indonesian Immigration Authority in Jakarta, stating the specific purpose, the name of sponsor, and period of the stay in Indonesia.
