JOURNALIST VISA

 

The visa is issued  for Press Visit or Film/Video/Photo Shooting in Indonesia.

 

Press visits or film/video/photo shooting in Indonesia may be carried out after an approval from the authorities concerned has been obtained.

 

- For the visa approval, the following must be submitted to the Social and Cultural Section  of the Indonesian Embassy;

 

1.      A Letter of Recommendation from the company;

2.      Company profile;

3.      Curriculum Vitae of  the applicants

4.      Completed visa application forms (one copy for each applicant).

5.      Synopsis or proposal of the film or photo project with details such as timetable, locations and duration of stay (enclosed for filming purposes only);

6.     A signed statement for film/video shooting (enclosed for filming purposes only);

7.     3 (Three) recent passport-sized photographs (red background), two of which must be attached to the Visa Application Form;

8.      A signed statement of the list of equipment to be-re-exported to the Philippines;

9.    A clear photocopy of passport which is valid at least 6 months upon arrival in Indonesia.

10. Return ticket/onward ticket

 

Upon arrival in Indonesia, applicants should proceed to the Directorate of Foreign Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Jl. Pejambon No. 6 Jakarta,  with 3 (three) colored photographs size 3 x 4 cm to collect  the press card or film permit.

 

Please be advised  that applicants should have a local partner in Indonesia to do the filming project.
