SOCIO-CULTURAL VISIT VISA
1. Social
cultural visit visa is issued to applicants going to
Indonesia:
-
To
visit family members or relatives in Indonesia;
-
To
visit social organization
-
Exchange visits (education, art or sports
institutions)
2. It
is a single journey with a maximum stay indicated in
the visa sticker and is extendable while in
Indonesia from the Immigration Authorities.
3. The
trip to Indonesia must be executed within 90
(ninety) days after the date of issuance of the
visa.
4. For
some nationals, the issuance of the visa may be
subject for approval from the Indonesian Immigration
Authority. The Indonesian sponsor will apply on
behalf of the applicant. The purchase of ticket is
not required yet.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Completely filled up
application form;
2. 2
(two) copies of recent colored photograph (red
background) size of 1 1/2 X 1 1/2, taken not more
than 6 (six) months;
3. Original
and photocopy of round trip through/onward ticket
of airline or boat;
4. Perfectly
conditioned passport for at least 6 (six) months
valid upon arrival in Indonesia;
5. A
letter from the applicant and from the sponsor
addressed to the: Consular Affairs Section,
Indonesian Embassy which explains the purpose of
the visit ;
6. If
the sponsor is
an individual,
additional documents must be submitted to the
Embassy:
- Photocopy
of the Sponsor’s passport or national ID (KTP);
- If
the sponsor is not an Indonesian, photocopy of
the passport and a copy of the Limited/Permanent
Stay permit Card (KITAS/KITAP);
- Evidence
of sufficient funds or a third party letter
guaranteeing to support the applicant financially
during the stay, together with documentary evidence
of the ability to do so.
7. For
the purpose of visiting family, the following
documents are required for submission:
- photocopy
of marriage certificate (for wife/husband);
- photocopy
of birth certificate (for children).
8. If
so required, the approval copy from the Indonesian
Immigration Authority in Jakarta stating the
specific purpose, name of sponsor and period of
stay in Indonesia;
9. Foreigners
who are permanent resident in the Philippines, the
following requirements should be submitted:
Alien Card Registration (ACR); Immigration Card
Registration and Re-entry Permit; Valid Philippine
Visa
10. Visa
fee
P 2,250.00
and should be paid in Manager’s check which can be
procured from the following banks; Banco de Oro,
Union Bank and Bank of the Philippines Islands and
is payable to the order of: Embassy of the
Republic of Indonesia.
